Privacy Policy
Effective September 9, 2026
BDH Consultants is a two-principal beverage commercialization and deal diligence firm. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, what we do with it, and what we do not do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Who we are

What this website collects
This site does not use advertising pixels. We do not use browser local storage. There is no account system and nothing to log into. We do load Google Analytics to measure visits, and Google may set cookies or use identifiers as described inits own privacy policy.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people read. It is deliberately privacy-preserving: it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across other websites. It cannot identify you individually, and we could not single you out from it if we wanted to.
The only information you can submit is through the contact form, which asks for your name, email address, phone number, and a description of what you need help with. When you press send, that submission is transmitted to our server and forwarded by email to a principal. We do not store it in a database; it lives in our email, like any other message you would send us.
The form also contains a hidden field that human visitors never see or fill in. It exists to identify automated spam submissions, and it collects nothing about you.
Third-party services this site loads
External services used to display or measure the page receive your IP address as a normal part of serving files or collecting analytics:
- Google Fonts delivers the typeface used across the site. Google's handling of that request is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Unsplash hosts several photographs used on the page. Unsplash's handling of that request is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Google Analytics loads the official gtag script from googletagmanager.com so we can measure visits and which pages are read. Google's handling of that request is governed byits own privacy policy.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard server request data as part of delivering the site and handling your form submission. We use Resend, an email delivery provider, to forward contact form submissions to us. Resend processes the contents of your submission solely to deliver that message.
Analytics
We use two tools to measure visits and which pages are read.
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-2KG66XG3RH) is loaded through Google's official gtag script. Google may set cookies or use identifiers as described inGoogle's privacy policy. We use it to count visits, see which pages people read, and measure successful inquiry submissions, clicks on our phone and email links, and library PDF downloads. These added events do not include the name, email address, phone number or message entered in the inquiry form. We do not use it for advertising or remarketing.
Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page views and which pages people read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across other websites. It cannot identify you individually, and we could not single you out from it if we wanted to.
We look at these numbers to learn which frameworks in the Library are worth writing more of.
What we do with what you send us
We use your inquiry to respond to you and, if we go on to work together, to carry out that engagement. That is the entire purpose. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with third parties for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list. You will not receive a newsletter you did not ask for.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Confidentiality in diligence engagements
Deal work is different from website inquiries, and it is worth stating the standard plainly. We sign non-disclosure agreements before receiving confidential material, and we run conflicts checks before accepting an engagement. Information from a data room, a management presentation, or a target company is handled under the terms of the governing NDA and engagement letter, which take precedence over this policy for that material.
How long we keep information
Inquiries that do not become engagements are retained only as long as they remain commercially relevant, and are deleted on request. Engagement records are retained as long as needed for the work, for our professional and legal obligations, and for the period specified in the engagement letter.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email billy@bdhconsultants.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the General Data Protection Regulation. We will honor those rights where they apply.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
On September 9, 2026 we added measurement of successful inquiries, contact-link clicks and library downloads. The inquiry contents are not included in these events.
On August 27, 2026 we added Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and which pages are read. This page was updated so the policy matches what the site loads.
